仕事内容: StarLingo is seeking a bilingual Japanese-English Teaching Assistant to support our English programmes for young learners. You will work closely with native English-speaking instructors to create a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment. As this position includes communicating with parents and providing brief lesson feedback, strong Japanese communication skills and conversational English are essential. We are also considering launching a new English and arts-and-crafts class for three-year-old children. Candidates with experience in early childhood education, childcare, creative activities, or arts and crafts are especially encouraged to apply. During English camps, experiential lessons, field trips and special events, the Teaching Assistant may also be required to support children with daily routines and safety, including accompanying them to the bathroom and supervising them during meals and snack times. Key ResponsibilitiesLesson and Learning Support * Assist native instructors with English lessons for children aged three and above * Encourage, supervise and support children during classroom activities * Help create an environment where children build confidence through practical English communication * Observe children’s understanding, participation and learning progress * Support instructors in using AI tools for personalised learning and progress tracking * Prepare and organise teaching materials, activities and classrooms * Assist with tidying classrooms after lessons Parent Communication * Communicate with parents in both Japanese and English * Provide brief updates about lesson content and children’s participation * Respond to basic questions from parents * Share relevant information with instructors and operations staff when necessary Arts and Crafts * Help prepare and deliver a possible new English and arts-and-crafts class for three-year-olds * Suggest and support age-appropriate activities such as drawing, painting, seasonal crafts and simple creative projects * Prepare, organise and safely manage craft materials and equipment * Help children enjoy creative activities while using English English Camps, Experiential Lessons and Events * Support English camps, field trips, reading clubs, cultural activities and special events * Accompany and assist young children when they need to use the bathroom * Support children during lunch and snack times * Supervise children while eating and help maintain a safe environment * Assist with handwashing, hygiene and other age-appropriate daily routines * Help children organise their belongings and transition between activities * Supervise children and respond appropriately to their individual needs * Promptly report any health, safety or behavioural concerns to the responsible staff member Team Collaboration * Work closely with native instructors and operations staff * Communicate and share information within a multicultural educational team * Contribute ideas to improve lessons and activities * Share and implement good practices in education and childcare StarLingoでは、子ども向け英語レッスンをサポートしていただける、日本語と英語のバイリンガル・ティーチングアシスタント（TA）を募集しています。 ネイティブ英語講師と協力しながら、子どもたちが安心して楽しく英語を学べる環境をつくるお仕事です。保護者へのご案内やレッスン後の簡単なフィードバックなど、日本語と英語の両方を使用したコミュニケーションも担当していただきます。 今後、3歳児を対象とした「英語＋アート＆クラフトクラス」の開講も検討しています。そのため、幼児と関わった経験や、工作、お絵描き、創作活動などの経験がある方を特に歓迎します。 英語キャンプ、体験型レッスン、フィールドトリップ、特別イベントなどでは、トイレへの付き添いや食事中の見守りなど、子どもたちの生活面・安全面のサポートをお願いする場合があります。 レッスンおよび学習サポート * ネイティブ講師による3歳以上の子ども向け英語レッスンの補助 * レッスン中の子どもたちへの声かけ、見守り、活動参加のサポート * 子どもたちが実践的な英語を通して自信を身につけられる環境づくり * 生徒一人ひとりの理解度、参加状況、学習進捗の確認 * AIツールを活用した、生徒への個別アプローチや学習進捗管理の補助 * 教材、教室、アクティビティの準備および片付け 保護者対応 * 日本語と英語を使用した保護者へのご案内 * レッスン内容や子どもの様子についての簡単なフィードバック * 保護者からの基本的な質問への対応 * 必要に応じた講師・運営スタッフとの情報共有 アート＆クラフト * 3歳児向け「英語＋アート＆クラフトクラス」の準備および運営サポート * お絵描き、工作、季節の制作活動など、年齢に合ったアクティビティの提案と実施 * アート＆クラフト用の教材や道具の準備、安全確認、片付け * 子どもたちが英語を使いながら創作活動を楽しめる環境づくり 英語キャンプ・体験型レッスン・イベント * 英語キャンプ、フィールドトリップ、読書クラブ、文化体験イベントなどの引率および運営サポート * 子どもがトイレを利用する際の付き添いおよび必要に応じた補助 * 昼食やおやつの時間のサポート * 食事中の見守りおよび安全な環境の維持 * 手洗いや衛生管理など、年齢に応じた生活習慣のサポート * 子どもの持ち物の準備や、次の活動へ移る際の補助 * 子どもたちの体調や行動の見守り * 安全、健康、行動面で気になることがあった場合の担当スタッフへの速やかな報告 チームワーク * ネイティブ講師および運営スタッフとの連携 * 多文化な教育チーム内での情報共有 * レッスンや活動をより良くするためのアイデアの提案 * 教育・保育に関するベストプラクティスの共有と実践
