仕事内容 ✨ Seeking a Chemical Substance Regulation Specialist! ✨ This is a vital role supporting crop protection and chemicals development. We are looking for an expert who can provide specialized regulatory knowledge and support! ✅ Highly competitive annual salary ✅ An environment where you can utilize your English skills ✅ Build your career at a global company ✅ Excellent work-life balance Specific Job Duties ⏩ Learn and Support CSCL Regulations (30%) ⏩ Understand regulations and formulate strategies ⏩ Liaise with clients and domestic laboratories ⏩ Understand technical outputs from key study types ⏩ Negotiate results and strategies with regulatory authorities ⏩ Prepare documentation and create summaries You will also support the team by attending scientific conferences as needed (10%). You will collaborate with teams based in the EU, UK, and Korea to support EU, UK, and Korea REACH business. You will be responsible for understanding regulations, consulting on registration tasks, and managing Japan domestic registration and post-registration client support (30%). Conducting surveys using JMAFF-designated databases via Web of Science and creating literature review reports is also an important part of the role (20%). You will also prepare documentation for chemical points in pesticide active/product registration, based on an understanding of JMAFF notification requirements (10%). Your Role and Contributions As a Regulatory Specialist, you will contribute to the department's revenue goals by ensuring the delivery of high-quality regulatory expertise. Your role as a regulatory consultant will be to actively contribute to regulatory project management and high-level service delivery, making Labcorp the best company for clients to partner with and adding value to their projects. Operational Project Management tasks: Adhere to the department's time-recording processes. Organize your own project plans and time management with supervision. Ensure budget tracking and fulfillment of project requirements. You must have commercial awareness, adhere to project objectives, record project time within the hours permitted for regulatory tasks, and escalate any shortfalls to the project leader. You may also be required to attend internal/external training courses for the purpose of providing feedback to other parts of the department, often in the form of a presentation. 【Our Work Environment】 We have many foreign staff members, creating an international environment where you can utilize your English abilities while demonstrating your professional skills. 求めている人材 【Required Qualifications】 BSc / postgraduate qualification and/or PhD (Relevant experience may be substituted for educational level) Japanese and English language skills (Both languages required, for reading, writing, and conversation) At least 3 years of experience, with at least 1 year specializing in an appropriate regulatory field 【Preferred Qualifications】 Practical experience in preparing EU/Global regulatory submissions and in project management of complex regulatory projects in any of the following three areas: Chemicals, Biocides, or Crop Protection. Individuals with specialized regulatory knowledge concerning chemical substances. Individuals with knowledge of CSCL (Chemical Substances Control Law) regulatory work. We welcome individuals who want to utilize their regulatory expertise in a global environment. This is an ideal environment for a Chemist and those with regulatory experience, especially related to chemicals, agrochemicals to fully leverage their skills.
