仕事内容 雇用形態：契約社員 職種：一般事務、キャリアアドバイザー、リクルーティングアドバイザー XG Partners is an executive search firm in Marunouchi, Tokyo, placing professionals from investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity, hedge funds, fintech and technology into mid-to-senior and CxO-level roles. We are growing our research team and are looking for a Candidate Researcher who wants to build a genuine eye for top-tier talent. This role requires native or advanced English and business-level Japanese. You will use both languages in your daily work. If English is your stronger language, you can write scouting messages and communicate with candidates in English, and we will support you whenever Japanese is needed. Employment type • Fixed-term contract for the first 6 months after joining. • Except for leave entitlements, all other conditions such as salary, incentives, and benefits are identical to those of permanent employees. • There is an opportunity to be promoted to a permanent full-time position upon completion of the 6-month contract period. ✅Highlights • No research experience required (3+ years of professional experience, with a background in recruitment or sales) • Hybrid and flexible: remote work up to 2 or 3 days a week, full flextime • Incentives for researchers, not just consultants – up to 6% of the placement fee • Work side by side with consultants, including client meetings • A new position created by business growth |◤ What you will do ￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣ You will support our consultants on their search mandates – finding the right candidates, reaching out to them, and arranging interviews. 1. Understand the mandate Learn each consultant's clients and industries, and build a clear picture of the role and the ideal candidate profile. 2. Find candidates Use a range of candidate databases to identify people who fit the role. Once you are up to speed, you will also design and refine the search criteria yourself. 3. Reach out Send scouting messages to potential candidates. As you gain experience, you will also write the messages yourself. 4. Arrange meetings Coordinate interview and meeting schedules between candidates and consultants. |◤ More than research ￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣ Our researchers work as part of the consultant's team, not behind it. You will join client visits and video calls, and use what you learn there to search for candidates together with the consultant. We also want you to speak up. "What about someone with this background?" "If the client can relax this requirement, I can find candidates." Suggestions like these are part of the job. That is why we look for commitment and a sales mindset, even though this is a research role. |◤How you are rewarded ￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣ Because researchers contribute directly to placements, they share in them. • Placement Incentive: up to 6% of the placement fee when a candidate you sourced is hired through a consultant • KPI Incentive: based on activity, such as the number of interviews you arrange Some of our researchers have earned ¥1–2 million or more a year in incentives on top of their base salary. |◤If you are new to research ￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣ • Industry knowledge: consultants who cover finance, real estate, consulting firms and other sectors teach you the fundamentals of each industry. • Research skills: experienced researchers show you how to search for and approach candidates, on real mandates.
